Complacency and incrementalism are traps to avoid

There are dozens of examples in financial history when an exchange rate was maintained too long, or debt was structured too late or forbearance was carried out too long.  But none where strong action was carried out too soon.Clear-eyed and bold reform is what the world require if financial drama is to subside.
